“Aloha, recently I was asked to change my pallette and create a more contemporary look that would adapt to many genres. This artwork is created on “300 lb” French watercolor paper, known as "Arches French Paper" that best illustrates the fullness of the texture of this woven basket. Woven items serverd many purposes from gathering crops to fishing. The fluid brush strokes move us through an illusion of space and  water. Many see this as a pineapple... that is okay, I see that too.
