“I was told that this white ti had to be given. There is a place on the East end of Molokai where this ti once abounded. I have yet to see one. I painted this as I felt it would look! The ti was described to be of a ‘pearly white’ hue and radiated soft satiney light. I used another green in the background to illustrate the contrast of how the “pearly” leaves are enhanced by the green hues. My day will come, I am sure one of the Keokeo will find me soon!
